How I Work...

My work process is pretty simple. For writing work, I quote by the project; for editing projects I work by the hour (though I can estimate cost if needed). If you prefer different arrangements, we can talk.

Each of my writing projects start with a quote documenting terms, conditions, and schedules. My quotes cover up to two one-hour planning meetings, allowances for research and writing time, and two rounds of reviews and edits. Additional meetings and review/edit cycles are charged at my hourly rate. All of this is spelled out in a short letter summarizing the project and explaining the terms and schedule. Once we agree on the project scope and terms, I start work.

When you are satisfied with my work and we agree the project is complete, it is time to settle up. Company checks work, as long as they are drawn in United States currency from a United States bank. PayPal works too if you want to pay by credit card. Let me know if you prefer a different payment method and we'll chat. Note that I reserve the right to hold delivery of the finished project until I receive confirmation your payment has cleared.
