Technical subjects can be hard to understand, even if the writing is stellar. But add a little creative grammar or spelling into the mix, and your subject - and reader - are lost before they get started. This is true of any technical writing project, whether a report, a manual, or how-to instructions. My objective with every project is to bridge the gap between technical expert and audience, to shine a bright and understandable light on each subject I write about.
Clear written technical communication rarely happens on the first try, and sometimes not the second or third. Editing is an important, but often neglected, part of every communication project. While I certainly enjoy writing, I also enjoy the editing work that follows; each has its challenges and rewards. I also enjoy helping my clients polish their own writing. Do you have a communication project where the writing is done but the message needs a bit of polish? Perhaps your project just needs a little refresh, or perchance a multi-page overhaul. Maybe English is your second (or third or fourth) language, so you simply want to make sure your writing makes sense to your readers, that your audience understands what you have to say. Whatever the reason, I can help. Here's how to reach me.
